ravina arizona microgreens, fresh organic local, nutrient dense oriental mustard greens, cochise county

Farm

Ravina Arizona is located off Double Adobe Road, 15 miles east of Bisbee in the Sulphur Springs Valley.

Our microgreens are grown indoors in trays of soil enriched with aged forest products, sphagnum peat moss, earthworm castings, bat guano, fish emulsion, and crab meal. They are fed local earthworm tea and full-spectrum light. We harvest them 7-12 days from germination when their first true leaf shows.

Nutrition

Why are microgreens so nutritious?

Because they’re babies, so their only job is to turn make vitamins and minerals that they can use to grow into adults.

By harvesting them right before they use those resources, we are able to maximize our nutrient yield. And that’s what microgreen farming is all about.

Health

Your body will get addicted to the nutrition. Getting fully loaded with essential amino acids, trace minerals, and vitamins allows your body to heal and perform optimally. Each green has its own nutrition profile, but they all do their part in preventing/reversing the effects of aging while strengthening the immune system and preventing cancer.

You are what you eat, and these microgreens are purely positive potential.

Eat fresh

Small, but mighty. These microgreens are full of flavor and are easy to consume. Just a sprinkle adds a nutritious boost to soups, salads, sandwiches, smoothies, and more. Best eaten fresh, but can be stored in your fridge for 14 days. Absorb excess moisture with a paper towel for longer shelf life. If you’re looking at a box on its last day — toss them all in a quick stir fry (oil + S&P).
